Outstanding Academic Performance Award
Selection criteria: MATH students who have received President's Honour Roll in one semester or both semesters in an academic year.
No. of recipients: No fixed quota
Amount per recipient: HK$1,000 for students received President's Honour Roll in one semester, HK$$2,000 for students received President's Honour Roll in both semesters in an academic year.

Prof. Huang Hong Ci Prize in Mathematics
Selection criteria: MATH students achieving outstanding academic improvement in MATH courses
No. of recipients: up to 2
Amount per recipient: HK$2,000

MATH UG Research Headstart Award
This award is created to encourage publication by undergraduate students in the Mathematics Department who have demonstrated exceptional research capabilities. The award is open to all undergraduate students within the department who have published in peer-reviewed research venues. Recipients of the Award will be honored with a certificate of recognition and a cash prize, the amount of which will be determined by the selection panel, with a maximum of HK$5,000, rewarding the innovation and scholarly dedication of our students.
