Global Acclaim for Our Department's Mathematicians

Professor NG, Kwok Po Michael and Professor ZHU, Lixing

We are proud to announce the prestigious global recognition of our esteemed colleagues, Professor Ng Kwok Po, Michael, and Professor Lixing Zhu, by Research.com in their recent scientific rankings.

Professor Ng has been honored first and foremost for his contributions to Mathematics, securing the 116th position worldwide and 4th in mainland China, with a Discipline H-index of 77. His expertise also extends to Computer Science, where he is ranked 562nd globally and 44th nationally, with a Discipline H-index of 82.

Professor Zhu has been acknowledged as a leading Mathematics Scientist, achieving the 1660th spot on the global scale and 89th in mainland China, with a Discipline H-index of 37.

The Department celebrates these accolades as a reflection of our commitment to academic excellence and the impactful research conducted within our community. Congratulations to Professors Ng and Zhu for their remarkable global standing and for bringing honor to HKBU's Department of Mathematics.
