Title: | Incidence coloring on some graphs |
Speaker: | Mr Pak Kiu Sun, Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong |

Abstract: | Incidence coloring of a graph G is a mapping from the set of incidences to a color-set C such that adjacent incidences of G are assigned distinct colors. A brief history and background of the incidence coloring will be introduced. Moreover, a number of previous results that are related to incidence coloring or cubic graphs will be discussed. Some original results such as incidence chromatic number of cubic Halin graph as well as the methodology of the proofs are being carried out. Finally, a number of open questions that facilitate the development of incidence coloring will be revealed. |
